Mobilise and unite your leaders and teams around an inspiring, shared vision and set a clear, mobilising north star for your business that connects strategy with meaningful transformation.

The challenges you may be facing (Why)

You may be facing the following challenges:

  • Your teams are caught in the race to deliver short-term targets and are missing a sense of meaning, inspiration and long-term perspective.
  • You sense that short-term performance alone will not be enough to sustain your company in the face of ongoing transformation in your environment.
  • You feel that your teams are chasing too many short-term “priorities”, and are missing clear long-term ambitions to guide effective choices about what is most important today.
  • You have strong intuitions about the future and want to turn them into a truly inspiring vision together with your team.
  • You want this vision to be genuinely shared by your leadership team and embraced by all your employees.
  • You are questioning how to build this vision in a concrete, structured and engaging way.

“Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision is just passing the time. Vision with action can change the world.”  – Joel A. Barker

The keys to building your shared vision (What)

We partner with you and your leadership team through a proven, 4-step approach to build a unifying shared vision, with four key steps

Depending on your context, we focus on the steps that are most critical to develop for your vision.

  • The past & present: your company’s roots, your collective talents, values, purpose, business model and areas for improvement.
  • The external environment: your stakeholders and their expectations, uncertainties, disruptions, opportunities and challenges.
  • The future: your vision, ambition, a renewed business model and the desired culture.
  • The roadmap for action and learning: a roadmap combining incremental and transformative actions, supported by a dynamic of continuous learning.

We integrate in our approach the fundamental principles of the regenerative enterprise (net positive enterprise) in our visioning approach.

Involving your key leaders in the visioning approach (Who)

We involve and coach your key leaders and teams in the shared vision journey:

  • The CEO: you are the sponsor and initiator of the vision. We partner with you through individual coaching sessions.
  • The “core team”: 3–4 members of the leadership team who carry the process alongside you and act as pilot group to prepare a “first draft” of the vision. (Participatory small-group sessions)
  • The leadership team: building on the work of the core team, the whole leadership team takes ownership and co-cocreates a vision that can be shared beyond the leadership team. (Team coaching workshops)
  • The extended leadership team: your company’s key leaders, with whom the leadership team shares the vision to involve them in shaping the roadmap for action and learning. (Participatory workshops using collective intelligence)

We mobilise a dedicated team of executive coaches to accompany you throughout your visioning journey — from its inception to collective commitment for the inspiring shared vision for your company.

Our visioning approach in three phases (How)

We partner with you and your team through the three main phases of the Shared Vision approach:

  • Initial meeting and scoping of the approach
  • Kick-off workshop with the leadership team
  • Three to four workshops with the core team
  • One to two coaching sessions with the leader
  • First Executive Team Seminar to cocreate the vision with the leadership team
  • Inter-session development work
  • Second Executive Team Seminar to finalize the vision and prepare to share it with the extended leadership team (e.g. the top 50-100 leaders)
  • One to two coaching sessions with the leader
  • 1 to 2-day seminar with the extended leadership team (e.g. the top 50-100 leaders), including: presentation of the vision by the leadership team; dialogue on the impact of the vision; cocreation of the roadmap for action and learning.
  • Debrief of the seminar with the core team and the leader.

Throughout the process we partner in coaching with the leader.
